The project implementation and expenditure report for Arpookara Grama Panchayat during the 2019–2020 financial year covers key development sectors as follows:

Key Sectors & Initiatives

  • Agriculture: Allocation and execution of paddy cultivation development schemes. Other priorities included the distribution of grobag vegetables, coconut seedlings, plantain saplings, and tuber crops.
  • Dairy & Animal Husbandry: Distribution of mineral mixtures for cattle, calf rearing schemes, backyard poultry (laying hens) distribution, and supply of medicines to veterinary hospitals.
  • Housing & Drinking Water: Construction and completion of houses under the LIFE Mission, along with domestic water connection distribution and the construction and maintenance of wells.
  • Social Welfare & Disability Support: Distribution of assistive devices for persons with disabilities, student scholarships, Anganwadi development and equipment distribution, and elderly welfare programs.
  • Healthcare & Infrastructure: Palliative care and Pain & Palliative schemes managed through PHCs/CHCs, alongside tarring and concreting of public roads and pathways.
