Arpookara Grama Panchayat - Project Implementation Review Report (2018-2019)
During the 2018-2019 financial year, Arpookara Grama Panchayat implemented various projects using different financial sources and funds. A summary of the key sector-wise projects and expenditure details is provided below:
Key Sector-Wise Projects and Activities
- Agriculture Sector: Allocations were made for fallow land cultivation, seed distribution, and comprehensive paddy cultivation development. Approximately ₹24,69,000 was spent on paddy cultivation development.
- Dairy & Animal Husbandry: Initiatives included goat farming schemes (for SC, ST, and General categories), calf rearing, poultry farming, and the purchase of medicines for veterinary hospitals.
- Health & Sanitation: Projects involved Primary Health Centers, palliative care (expenditure of ₹5,95,648), the Saurabhya sanitation project, solar panel installations, and wastewater management.
- Housing & Infrastructure (LIFE Mission): Funds were allocated and utilized for complete housing support, green housing initiatives, and senior citizen assistance.
- Social Welfare: Implementation focused on scholarships for students with disabilities, elderly care initiatives, maintenance and equipment purchases (fans, furniture) for Anganwadis, and distribution of aids/appliances for persons with disabilities.
- Roads & Public Works: Funds were sanctioned and spent on road tarring, concreting, footpaths, and drainage construction across various wards.
