Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005 – Designated Officers

In accordance with the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005, the following officers have been designated for Arpookara Grama Panchayat:

1. State Public Information Officer (SPIO)

Name: Smt. Vijaya C. L.
Designation: Secretary, Arpookara Grama Panchayat

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process RTI applications.
  • Provide information sought under the RTI Act within the prescribed time limit.
  • Transfer applications to the concerned authority where required.
  • Ensure compliance with the provisions of the RTI Act, 2005.

2. Assistant Public Information Officer (APIO)

Designation: Junior Superintendent, Arpookara Grama Panchayat

Responsibilities

  • Receive RTI applications and appeals from applicants.
  • Forward applications and appeals to the State Public Information Officer.
  • Assist applicants in matters relating to RTI procedures.
  • Facilitate the processing of RTI requests.
