District-Level Grievance Redressal Mechanisms of Arpookara Grama Panchayat

- Supervises and monitors the functioning of Grama Panchayats in the district.
- Receives and addresses complaints related to Panchayat administration and service delivery.
- District Collector, Kottayam
- Acts as the head of district administration.
- Handles public grievances concerning government services, welfare schemes, and administrative matters.
- District Grievance Redressal Cell
- Functions under the District Administration to receive and process public complaints.
- Facilitates timely resolution of citizen grievances.
- District Ombudsman / Local Self Government Ombudsman
- Investigates complaints regarding maladministration, corruption, misuse of funds, and irregularities in Local Self Government Institutions.
- District-Level Public Grievance Adalats and Mass Contact Programmes
- Organized periodically by the District Administration to provide direct grievance redressal services to the public.
- District Offices of Line Departments
- Complaints relating to specific sectors such as health, education, social welfare, agriculture, and public works can be submitted to the respective district-level departmental offices.
