Sector-Wise Expenditure Overview

  • Agriculture: A total of ₹53,25,031 was allocated for initiatives such as tissue culture banana distribution, tamarind/green chilli distribution, grow bag distribution, and integrated paddy cultivation development. Out of this, ₹20,81,950 was spent, with paddy cultivation receiving the largest share.
  • Animal Husbandry: An amount of ₹20,63,000 was budgeted for dairy cattle management, goat rearing, backyard poultry distribution, and medicine purchases for veterinary hospitals, resulting in an expenditure of ₹11,67,980.
  • Health and Sanitation: Projects included palliative care, epidemic control, and medicine procurement for Ayurveda and Homeo hospitals. Out of ₹6,00,000 allocated for palliative care, ₹5,54,074 was utilized.
  • Housing and Social Welfare: Funds were allocated for house renovations for the general category and persons with disabilities, clearing pending dues, and completing the Ashraya project. Housing renovation projects saw high completion rates.
  • ICDS (Child Development): Out of ₹45,07,850 allocated for Anganwadi staff honorariums, nutritional food for children, and learning support, ₹38,37,870 was spent.
  • Infrastructure and Roads: Extensive projects were undertaken for tarring, metalling, culvert/retaining wall construction, and street light maintenance, with a total allocation of ₹2,34,21,277.
