District-Level Grievance Redressal Mechanisms of Arpookara Grama Panchayat

Citizens of Arpookara Grama Panchayat can submit grievances and complaints to the following district-level authorities and institutions for redressal:

  1. Joint Director of Panchayats,LSGD, Kottayam District
    • Supervises and monitors the functioning of Grama Panchayats in the district.
    • Receives and addresses complaints related to Panchayat administration and service delivery.
  2. District Collector, Kottayam
    • Acts as the head of district administration.
    • Handles public grievances concerning government services, welfare schemes, and administrative matters.
  3. District Grievance Redressal Cell
    • Functions under the District Administration to receive and process public complaints.
    • Facilitates timely resolution of citizen grievances.
  4. District Ombudsman / Local Self Government Ombudsman
    • Investigates complaints regarding maladministration, corruption, misuse of funds, and irregularities in Local Self Government Institutions.
  5. District-Level Public Grievance Adalats and Mass Contact Programmes
    • Organized periodically by the District Administration to provide direct grievance redressal services to the public.
  6. District Offices of Line Departments
    • Complaints relating to specific sectors such as health, education, social welfare, agriculture, and public works can be submitted to the respective district-level departmental offices.
